“It was a very emotional weekend! I went back to my birth town in Liverpool. My mother passed when I was very young, so going back to where it all began and laying flowers on her grave was a special moment. I also had the pleasure of visiting my uncle in hospital after having a major operation. For a man in his nineties, he is sharp, has a great sense of humour and he means a lot to me! Lastly, a big thanks to my lovely friend for making the time to come with me, getting us there and back safely, and sharing these memories. I couldn’t have done it without you, so thank you.” Alison
